Xpenser 1.5.1

Latest version of Xpenser just hit the android market. Here are a list of the latest features.

  • Action Bar Tablet Optimization
  • Switch default install location to auto instead of external

Xpenser Tablet Optimization

A smallish project I’ve been working on for the last month or so is optimizing Xpenser for tablets. Android makes it super easy to optimize existing applications for tablets but  a lot of the code I’m tweaking I have not touched in over a year. I will frequently come across a piece of code and decide to rewrite it to make it more efficient. I believe I will be releasing the tablet optimized features in phases. The first phase will have the support for Android 3.0+’s native action bar. That should be released in the next day or two so stay tuned!
